1.1 How does mail ordering of meat work?
The delivery of your order is in the hands of PostNL. The shipment can be traced through the Track & Trace link. The meat is vacuum packed and is shipped in a box made of EPS packaging, the same material used in coolers. Cooling is provided through ice packs, and in some cases dry ice, ensuring sufficient cooling so that your order arrives in good condition. With a money-back guarantee you can be assured that your order arrives in safe and tasty condition.
1.2 What if I am not at home to accept delevery?
You can opt for delivery at home (or work, vacation address) but also for a pick-up address. There are over 2000 pick up points in The Netherlands. You will not have to stay at home but you can pick up the order after 16:00 at the pick up point. You can choose for delivery at a pickup address using the button 'Afhaallocaties' on the homepage.

If you have chose delivery at home and nobody is present at the delivery address, the order will be presented to the neighbors, when possible. You will receive a note containing the address.
1.3 How do I know if products are in stock?
The stock position of each product is displayed on the website in in real-time. If a product is out of stock you will not be able to order the product. This way you can be sure that your order can be delivered immediately. We recieve new supply several times a week. If you wish to order an item that is out of stock (only for postponed delivery), please send an email to info@beefensteak.nl. In other cases, your desired product will be available again in just a few days.
1.4 How long can I safely store a product
Each product has a label stating the content, approximate weight and the 'consume before' date. Through our purchasing and inventory policy, your order can be stored for longer periods and you will not receive an order containing only products near the end of shelf life.
