Recipe: Barbecue Ribs
Ready in: 3 hours 15 min 8 servings Ingredients • • 4 pounds spareribs 1 cup brown sugar • 1 / 4 cup ketchup • 1 / 4 cup soy sauce • 1 / 4 cup Worcestershire sauce • 1 / 4 cup rum • 1 / 2 cup chili sauce • 2 cloves garlic, crushed • 1 teaspoon coarse mustard • 1 dash ground black pepper Preparation: 1. Preheat oven to 175 degrees. Cut spare ribs into portions, wrap in double thick foil and bake 1 1 / 2 hours. Unpacking, and leaking. Place ribs in a large roasting pan. 2. Mix brown sugar, ketchup, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, rum, chili sauce, garlic, mustard, and pepper. Marinate ribs in sauce and at room temperature for 1 hours, or overnight in the refrigerator. 3. Preheat the grill on medium heat grill. Place grate four inches above heat source. 4. Grease the grill with oil. Place ribs on grill, and bake for 30 minutes, basting with the marinade.
